This hotel situated in the heart of Cardiff city centre required a full redesign to the entire ground floor. As part of this, the design required adding six new bedrooms. Each of these bedrooms was an opportunity to take the narrative of the current design in a new direction. Before the refurbishment, the hotel had a redundant coffee shop which we utilised by repositioning the executive lounge in this space. This also allowed us to link the lobby area to the newly refreshed space and create a better flow throughout the ground floor.
