Holiday Inn Bournemouth

This hotel was formerly a Ramada Hotel, and we were approached by Interstate to rebrand and remodel it into a Holiday Inn. The entire hotel underwent a refurbishment, from it’s public areas to all of it’s guest bedrooms.

One of the key design elements involved removing a large section of dividing wall in the public areas to create an inviting and airy open-plan space. As part of this, we also removed a central seating feature which allowed us to open up the lobby and food service area. This in turn provided better visibility from the reception area upon arrival. One of our favourite features is the new signature reception desk that was installed alongside a bespoke bookcase. This bookcase featured joinery elements that houses beachside themed bric-a-brac.

We also opted for deckchair style seating to fully tie in the surrounding area of Bournemouth.
