The Dilly Piccadilly

As part of the rebranding from Le Meridien Hotel to The Dilly Piccadilly, our team at Aspinall Creative worked on the remodelling of the main public entrance and lobby, as well as selection of guest bedrooms.

The brief was focused on transforming the venue into an attractive city centre location that would appeal to both local residents and visitors to the capital city, as well as accommodating regular hotel guests.

Inspired by the heritage of the city of London and by utilising bold colour accents, we created an authentic connection to an age of elegance, whilst complimenting the city’s cosmopolitan heritage.

These connections can be found in almost all aspects of the design, artwork, lighting and fabric selections.

“This really is a grandstanding hotel stretching down Piccadilly, along Air Street and back onto Regent Street. The lobby has been given a modern twist with Hague Blue paintwork, images and maps of London, a funky “Dilly” sign hanging from the ceiling, stained-glass skylight and floral displays from high-end florists Pulbrook & Gould. The balcony above the lobby is now a calm and understated lounge (Balcony at The Dilly), serving complimentary drinks for suite guests.”
