What is FF&E and why is it so important to your project?

Your entire project will consist of different stages, from conception to visualisation and of course completion.

The first part is typically the most creative. This is where our team will work with you to ensure your project and renovation looks and feels exactly the way you want it to.

Once we’ve agreed on the overall aesthetic of your interior design project, our expert team will begin work on the finite details of your FF&E – this is all about making sure your design has the right finishes and feels exactly right.

What does FF&E mean?

Before we get into why this aspect of the project is so important, you might be asking yourself… “But what does it actually mean?”

Well, we’re here to explain it all!

In short it means Furniture, Fixture and Equipment. Essentially it’s the sourcing and purchasing of materials and finishings for the client, and it’s incredibly important to the success of a project as there are a lot of logistics involved.

Lucky for you our FF&E is headed up by the incredibly experienced, Sonia Munday – our FF&E Director. With over 20 years of experience designing and overseeing the installation of interiors for a wide range of clients, your project has never been in safer hands.

Why it matters that it’s done right

From Sample Boards to showcases, our team will work with you to ensure that you’re happy with all the finishes we select.

We manage every step of the process to ensure the highest quality is delivered in the most suitable amount of time. Our primary goal is to provide you with a stress-free renovation process, whilst ensuring we adhere to budget and timelines.

Behind the scenes, we’ll liaise with suppliers to ensure everything from the specifications of materials right through to the delivery and quality control is completed to the highest standard. This means that all you have to do is sit back and watch as your project unfolds.

Problem Solving

Whilst we’d like every project to run completely smoothly, sometimes fabrics are sold out or furniture is discontinued which means sourcing an appropriate replacement.

When this happens, our team shortlists the options, if there is more than one suitable supplier, and manages the procurement process meaning you don’t have to worry about the logistics and can continue to focus on your end result.

The procurement process

Once you’ve agreed on the FF&E you would like, our team will work with our trusted suppliers to ensure delivery and installation are completed in line with the project timeline. They’ll handle the new items, ensure they’re sorted correctly and there aren’t any faults or issues.

Having us handle this process ensures your goods are delivered when they’re needed and not before, this avoids any concerns over finishings being on site whilst work is still happening.

Our goal is to ensure your project is delivered to the highest quality and we’ve streamlined this process since our inception in 2016 – which means, when you choose to work with us, you’re getting a focused and committed approach to your refurbishment with a proven track record of success.

Aspinall Creative will work with you to create aesthetic and functional interiors. Contact us today to discuss your upcoming project, we’d love to hear from you.
